Rafting In Nepal-Trishuli River:

Rafting is a popular sport in Nepal, and adds a new dimension to your travel. We can arrange rafting trips for absolute beginners to die hard. Rafting trips can last just one day, or up to ten for the really adventurous!

Perhaps the most important thing: 15 years experience running professional river expeditions in Nepal and world-wide. In the last 12 years of operation in Nepal we have run every commercial first descent of rivers in Nepal. We run high water trips on all Nepal's wild rivers and this experience shows in all we do.Expedition elements include professional guides and leadership, private ground transportation, porters and permits.

 

Tasty and carefully prepared western meals, rum punch, tea, coffee and snacks. We always offer a vegetarian option and can cater to special diets.

State-of-the-art Equipment: self bailing rafts, lifejackets, helmets, wetsuits on certain rivers, dry bags for gear, tents, and camera barrels.

Note: Not included are bottled/alcoholic beverages, any kind of insurance, visa costs, and expenses of a personal nature.

Major Rafting River in Nepal
Trishuli River:
The Trisuli River is Nepal's most popular rafting river. Among features are its impressive gorges, exciting rapids, some easier sections, and easily accessible from Kathmandu and Pokhara. It is truly recommended for intermediate kayakers and those wanting a cheap white water trip.

This river trip will give you a full and satisfying experience- you run all the major rapids, watch the river grow as its tributaries join, marvel as it cuts its way through impressive gorges, then leave it when it spreads out over the great plain of the Ganges.

Trip Itinerary
A pre-departure meeting to answer any questions, arrange timings for the departure and meet the team over a glass of rum (or two) is held the night before.

Day 01: Kathmandu to approx 3 to 4 hours drive to starting point Charaudi 85 k.m. This trip hitting a few class 2 or 3 rapids called "LADISE DELIGHT " and stop for the lunch. After lunch white water hit a class 2 to 3 rapid called "UPSET" and "SURPRISE" At Fishling stop and have hot Tea/Coffee with snacks. At about 6:00 p.m. at the camp take the dinner.

Day 02: Around 6:30 in the morning wake up Tea and Breakfast quick pack-up and set our (approx 8 to 9 a.m.) run white water hit a class 2 or 3 rapids "BIJILI RAPID" and "TEA POT" and stop for the lunch. After that raft is going to take out point Simaltal and drive back to Kathmandu / Pokhara / Chitwan.

Note: Rafting itinerary can be changed as per different situation. mesmerized with the cool breeze and captivating sceneries around you.

 

Please bring:
• T-shirt.
• Swim wear for on the river.
• Warm clothing for the evenings including a fleece or a pullover.
• Sunscreen and lip protector.
• Sunglasses (with retaining device) and/or a cap.
• Towel and Toiletries (environmentally friendly is best).
• Personal medication.
• Flashlight.
• Footwear.
• Reading book.
• Fishing hook (you can fishing in the Himalayan River).
