Gorkha area trek

For a short time, rougly 1559-1769 Gorkha, ruled by the shah Kings, was one of the most important kingdoms in the central Himalayas after those of the Kathmandu valley. The people of gorkha and surrounding villages are of gurungs, Magar and chhetri / Brahman ethnic / caste groups. The actual town is mainly inhabited by Newar traders and shopkeepers (originally from Kathmandu valley) as are all towns in central hills of Nepal.

 

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu, MTM staff meet at the Airport and transfer to Hotel on bb basis.
Day 02: Full day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 03: Khanchowk by bus (3130ft.) via Gorkha
Day 04: Silikot
Day 05: Dharchhya (10648ft.)
Day 06: Above Barpak (10500ft.)
Day 07: Barpak
Day 08: Ghaychowk
Day 09: Ridge Camp (10884ft.)
Day 10: Forest Camp
Day 11: Near Dudhpokhari
Day 12: Dudhpokhari (14320ft.)
Day 13: Dudhpokhari Rest day to visit Pokhari.
Day 14: Forest Camp
Day 15: Ridge Camp (10884ft.)
Day 16: Siran Danda (6534ft.)
Day 17: Ratmate.
Day 18: Amp Pipal
Day 19: Lig Lig Thum. (6550ft.)
Day 20: Changlee
Day 21: Kathmandu by Vehicle from Palungtar and transfer to Hotel on bb basis.
Day 22: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 23: International departure.......
