TREKKING

Personally led more than 100 Treks to most wilderness areas of Nepal.

Wide Experience with a variety of groups, including the Sierra Club, wilderness Travel, Singapore Adventure and Comex Clubs, Thomas Cook, Israeli geographical Tours, British Army and British Royalty ( with Lord Mountague 1979-1981).

In depth knowledge of Nepal's natural history and culture.

MANAGEMENT – TREKKING AGENCY

Seven Year's of experience in managing a successful trekking agency (Adventure Nepal Trekking) that conducts 100 treks and 8-10 Expeditions per Year.

In 1992 establishment of own trekking agency “More Than Mountain Treks Pvt Ltd.”

Successfully secured funding for community development projects from a variety of agencies and individuals: UNICEF, SAP (South Asia partnership) Local chapters and individual members of the Sierra Club.

Organized community support and implementation for water and School projects in Bhanjyang, Bolde, Mourey, Bolde Phediche Health Post building, Shivalaya Lower Secundery School building (Bolde VDC) Pakuwal Village water project (Thulo Parsel VDC) water project in Choptar Village, Palughat Village (Mechche VDC) water project in Chukha Beshi (Sarshun Kharka VDC), Lokil Danda water project for trekkers ( Katikke  Deurali VDC), Khadgaysori Primary School building in Kaldhar Village( Chapakhori VDC)

Married and five children( 2 son, 3 daughters)

NOW, ABOUT OURSELVES: The agency is well organized with its systematic office Management facilitated by a team of highly qualified Managers, and more than 38 years experienced mountain filed staff. The team is headed by the Founder Director himself, Mr. Jagat man Lama, who has been in the trekking in different capacities for more than three decades. Mr. Lama has explored almost every part of the mountain regions of Nepal.

He has also traveled extensively in the USA, UK, Europe (Germany, Switzerland), Japan, Australia, and Singapore with the aim of business promotion.
